ADEC / Solutions+ / Mubadala
A five-year strategic-planning engagement for Abu Dhabi Entertainment Company, a wholly owned Solutions+ subsidiary within the Mubadala group.
The institutional context
Abu Dhabi Entertainment Company (ADEC) operates across sports, leisure, entertainment, venue management, and community programming. ADEC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Solutions+, a Mubadala company.
This ownership structure placed the engagement within a broader institutional environment where portfolio-company strategy needed to align enterprise opportunity with the operating priorities of Solutions+ and the Mubadala group.
The five-year mandate
BoCG supported ADEC in developing a five-year strategic plan. The mandate required a long-horizon view of the company’s positioning, growth opportunities, operating capabilities, and role within Abu Dhabi’s sports and entertainment ecosystem.
The objective was to translate strategic ambition into a decision-useful planning framework that leadership and institutional stakeholders could use to evaluate priorities over time.
Enterprise assessment
The planning work considered ADEC’s current position, portfolio of capabilities, market context, strategic opportunities, and the organizational requirements associated with expansion.
The assessment created a common basis for distinguishing near-term operating priorities from longer-term platform opportunities and identifying where capability, governance, partnerships, or investment would be required.
From strategy to roadmap
The five-year horizon connected strategic direction with sequencing. Rather than treating every opportunity as simultaneous, the plan established a structure for evaluating initiatives against enterprise readiness, stakeholder alignment, and execution requirements.
This approach is consistent with BoCG’s broader enterprise value-creation discipline: define success, identify the capabilities required, and convert the thesis into a roadmap that can be governed and measured.
The strategic contribution
The engagement provided ADEC and its institutional stakeholders with a structured view of long-term direction and enterprise priorities.
The profile describes BoCG’s planning mandate. It does not attribute ADEC’s subsequent growth, partnerships, or operating performance solely to BoCG.
Attribution note: ADEC, Solutions+, and Mubadala are identified to describe the documented organizational and engagement context. The profile does not imply endorsement, investment performance, or sole responsibility for subsequent enterprise outcomes.
